Cheryl Sackmann, M.A., M. Ed., owner
and head instructor of Aireborne began competing in dog agility in 2000 and has been instructing the sport since 2002.
She runs two Airedale Terriers in the sport of dog agility: MACH Seneca's Sedona Gala Affair NAP NJP CGC
and Seneca Bona Fide Bold Bandit CD AX MXJ MJP2 AP NF RE CGC
and registered Delta Society Pet Partner. Recently Cheryl added a Border Terrier, Fanfare Dash of Spice to her pack.
Look for Nutmeg in obedience, earth dog and agility competitions when she matures. Cheryl also plans to have "Meg"
become a registered therapy dog.
Cheryl's involvement in Therapy Dog volunteer work began in 2000 as well and in 2001 she became a Therapy
Dog instructor and evaluator. She and her dog Bandit presently serve in assisted care living and skilled nursing facilities
in Redmond, Washington.
As a retired educator of K-12, University and Adult Learners with over 30 years of experience, Cheryl understands the importance
of training "both ends of the leash". Her involvement in both dog agility and Therapy Dog volunteer
work evolved from a life-long love of teaching canines and a desire to share this love by educating other humans.
